Professional training of cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is carried out in various directions, taking into account a combination of factors that affect the body of students and cause changes in their functional state. As noted, in order to master the discipline "Physical Training", an integrated approach is needed, the development of which should take into account the initial skills and abilities of cadets. Depending on the course of study, the level of physical fitness varies, so the complex should be aimed at constantly improving the knowledge and skills of students. In order to identify and determine the level of physical readiness, a survey was conducted among the 1st-year cadets of the Belgorod Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after I.D. Putilin. The survey data allow us to conclude that the level of physical fitness of cadets is constantly improving. This is facilitated by constant scheduled classes and self-training, as well as correctly selected sets of exercises taking into account the individual characteristics of the body. It is worth noting that improving the level of physical fitness is important for the further successful performance of the official activity of a law enforcement officer.
