В статье представлено исследование, посвященное анализу выполнения целевых показателей федеральных целевых программ и стратегий в сфере физической культуры и спорта. Отмечено, что рост количества занимающихся физической культурой и спортом важен и необходим. Однако количественные показатели должны иметь и качественные характеристики – это, прежде всего, уровень физической подготовленности населения. Этим показателем в России является сдача населением нормативов ВФСК ГТО на знаки отличия ГТО. Названный показатель обязательно должен быть внесен в перечень целевых ориентиров ныне действующей Стратегии развития физической культуры и спорта.

The study is devoted to the analysis of the implementation of target indicators of federal target programs and strategies in the field of physical culture and sports. Methodology and organization of the study. Increasing the number of people involved in physical education and sports is important and necessary. However, quantitative indicators must also have qualitative characteristics - this is, first of all, the level of physical fitness of the population. This indicator in Russia is the passing of the VFSK GTO standards by the population for the GTO insignia. This indicator must be included in the list of targets of the current Strategy for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports.
