Учебные занятия по физической культуре в высшей школе должны быть адаптированы к современным подходам в организации, связанным с сокращением часов на занятия и увеличением количества студентов в группе. В таких условиях требуется широкое применение методов оперативного контроля физического состояния студентов. Одним из эффективных методов экспресс-оценки физической работоспособности студентов является степ-тест PWC170, предложенный профессором М.Ф. Сауткиным. При проведении теста студенты самостоятельно измеряют значение ЧСС, что позволяет быстро получить значения пульса, но увеличивает вероятность ошибок измерения. Поэтому актуальным является повышение объективности методики за счет применения пульсоксиметров. В статье представлено исследование по сравнению результатов измерения ЧСС и расчета уровня физической работоспособности студентов после двухкомпонентной нагрузки, полученных пальпаторно и с применением пульсоксиметром. Обоснована необходимость, использования современных методов оперативного контроля физического состояния студентов на учебных занятиях по физической культуре.

Physical education classes in higher education should be adapted to modern approaches in the organization related to reducing class hours and increasing the number of students in the group. In such conditions, the widespread use of methods of operational control of the physical condition of students is required. One of the effective methods of rapid assessment of students' physical performance is the PWC170 step test, proposed by Professor M.F. Sautkin. During the test, students independently measure the heart rate value, which allows them to quickly obtain heart rate values, but increases the likelihood of measurement errors. Therefore, it is relevant to increase the objectivity of the technique through the use of pulse oximeters. The article presents a study comparing the results of heart rate measurement and calculating the level of physical performance of students after a two-component load, obtained palpationally and using a pulse oximeter. The necessity is justified the need to use modern methods of operational control of the physical condition of students in physical education classes.
