Статья посвящена проблеме особенностей когнитивного компонента телесности у студенческой молодежи с разным уровнем самооценки. В исследовании приняли участие 120 студентов женского пола 2-4 курсов кафедры психологии Крымского инженерно-педагогического университета имени Февзи Якубова, средний возраст составил 20,2 года. Проведен сравнительный анализ когнитивной составляющей телесности у студенток с разным уровнем самооценки. Выявлено, что студентки с низкой самооценкой убеждены в своей непривлекательности, оценивают свое тело как некрасивое, неуверенные в себе, в отличие от студенток со средней и высокой самооценкой. Определено, что студентки с низкой самооценкой не удовлетворены своим телом, в отличие от девушек со средней и высокой. Девушки со средней самооценкой принимают и ценят себя. Студентки с высокой самооценкой принимают себя, однако считают, что у других людей не вызывают интерес и симпатию. Результаты исследования могут свидетельствовать о том, что высокая самооценка является защитным механизмом, скрывающим неуверенность в себе и низкую оценку своих достоинств.
The article is dedicated to the issue of the peculiarities of the cognitive component of physicality among students with different levels of self-esteem. The study involved 120 female students from the 2nd to 4th year of the Department of Psychology at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov, with an average age of 20.2 years. A comparative analysis of the cognitive component of physicality in female students with different levels of self-esteem was conducted. It was revealed that students with low self-esteem believe themselves to be unattractive, evaluate their bodies as unattractive, and lack self-confidence, unlike students with average and high self-esteem. It was determined that students with low self-esteem are dissatisfied with their bodies, unlike girls with average and high self-esteem. Girls with average self-esteem accept and value themselves. Students with high self-esteem accept themselves, but believe that they do not attract interest and sympathy from others. The research results may indicate that high self-esteem is a protective mechanism, concealing self-doubt and low self-worth.
