Установлено, что при судействе международных соревнований судьи в значительной степени оказывают преференции спортсменам из одной с ними страны. Однако четких ответов на вопросы о достоверности этого явления при использовании системы JS 3.0 до сих пор не получено. Для выяснения этого вопроса были изучены протоколы судейства финальных раундов соревнований Чемпионата мира WDSF, прошедших в 2019 году. Конвертирование оценок, выставленных разным парам с тем, чтобы их было возможно сравнивать для каждого танца, было проведено в соответствии с описанной ранее методикой. Затем на листах, посвященных каждой паре, участвовавшей в конкретном этапе соревнований, проводилось определение средних оценок, выставляемых судьей парам для каждого этапа соревнований, был проведен анализ средних мест, выставленных парам арбитрами. Установлено, что различия между оценками «своих» и «чужих» пар на чемпионате мира являются достоверными в восьми турах трех проанализированных дисциплин. Только в единственном туре одной из дисциплин данные различия не были статистически достоверны. При этом в большинстве раундов проанализированных дисциплин судейская коллегия, судящая техническую сторону соревнований, была более склонна к завышению оценки «своих» пар, чем судейская коллегия, судящая эстетическую сторону соревнований.
It has been established that when judging international competitions, judges largely give preferences to athletes from the same country as them. However, clear answers to questions about the reliability of this phenomenon when using the JS 3.0 system have not yet been received. To clarify this issue, the protocols of refereeing the final rounds of the WDSF World Championship competitions held in 2019 were studied. The conversion of scores given to different couples so that they could be compared for each dance was carried out in accordance with the previously described methodology. Then, on the sheets dedicated to each pair participating in a particular stage of the competition, the average marks given by the judge to the pairs for each stage of the competition were determined, and the average places given to the pairs by the arbitrators were analyzed. It has been established that the differences between the scores of "our" and "foreign" couples at the World Championships are significant in eight rounds of the three analyzed disciplines. Only in a single round of one of the disciplines, these differences were not statistically significant. At the same time, in most rounds of the analyzed disciplines, the panel of judges judging the technical side of the competition was more inclined to overestimate “their” couples than the panel of judges judging the aesthetic side of the competition.
