Рассмотрены основные критерии отбора кандидатов для занятий стрелковым спортом на начальном этапе тренировок. В аспекте стрелковой подготовки внимание уделено изучению и роли типа нервной деятельности людей, приходящих в стрелковые секции вузов. Доказано, что способность к владению техникой стрельбы лежит преимущественно в характере управления со стороны центральной нервной системы. Рассмотрены разные признаки психических процессов студентов-стрелков. Знание типа нервной системы студентов позволяет тренерам эффективно осуществлять отбор кандидатов для участия в соревнованиях высокого уровня, наметить задачи психологической подготовки в ходе тренировочного процесса
The main criteria for the selection of candidates for shooting sports at the initial stage of training are considered. In the aspect of shooting training, attention is paid to the study and role of the type of nervous activity of people coming to the shooting sections of universities. It is proved that the ability to master the shooting technique lies mainly in the nature of control by the central nervous system. Various signs of mental processes of students-shooters are considered. Practical significance - knowledge of the type of students' nervous system allows coaches to effectively select candidates for participation in high-level competitions, outline the tasks of psychological preparation of the training process
