Спортивно-массовая деятельность в высшем учебном заведении является эффективным средством в развитии воспитательной, патриотической и коммуникативной функции студента, поэтому поддержка развития студенческого спорта важна и необходима на всех уровнях государственной власти. Цель исследования: выявить особенности и направления развития студенческого спорта на примере спортивного студенческого клуба «Невские титаны». В рамках исследования авторами выявлены основные направления развития студенческого спорта, которые способствуют не только повышению имиджа Института, но и достижению высоких результатов в соревнованиях на городском и всероссийском уровнях
Mass sports activity in a higher educational institution is an effective tool in the development of the educational, patriotic and communicative functions of a student, therefore, support for the development of student sports is important and necessary at all levels of government. The purpose of the study: to identify the features and directions of development of student sports on the example of the student sports club "Neva Titans". As part of the study, the authors identified the main directions for the development of student sports, which contribute not only to improving the image of the Institute, but also to achieving high results in competitions at the city and all-Russian levels
