Современный спорт высших достижений имеет тесную взаимосвязь с профессиональным дзюдо. Соревновательная и тренировочная деятельность в профессиональном спорте развивается по законам спорта. Коммерческая деятельность в профессиональном спорте развивается по законам бизнеса и индустрии развлечений. Была проанализирована нормативная база и разработаны основы модели развития профессионального дзюдо. Цель исследования - разработать модель развития профессионального дзюдо в России. Методика и организация исследования. В исследовании проводилось изучение особенностей развития профессионального дзюдо в России путем внедрения профессиональных соревнований в практику, использовался метод моделирования. Результаты исследования и их обсуждение. В статье представлены результаты разработки модели развития профессионального дзюдо в России. Выводы. В процессе исследования были выявлены нормативный, целевой, содержательно-технологический и оценочно-результативный блоки, составляющие основу модели развития профессионального дзюдо. На основе модели целесообразно планировать проведение профессионального спортивного соревнования по дзюдо
