В статье приведена историческая справка развития туризма в СССР и в новой России как основа здоровьесберегающего направления всех слоев населения страны. Туризм во многих странах является одним из видов экономики, приносящих основной доход страны. В последние 8 лет внутреннему туризму в России уделяется особое внимание. Рассматривается также тесная взаимосвязь геологических маршрутов студентов в период учебно-полевой практики с пешими туристическими походами, где у студентов пеший маршрут в основном проходит по местам сбора учебных материалов по геологии. По окончании геологического маршрута студентов 2 курса в летний период можно приравнять к сдаче норматива по туризму и к знаку «Турист России»
The article provides historical background on the development of tourism in the USSR and in the new Russia as the basis for a health-saving direction for all segments of the country's population. Tourism in many countries is one of the types of economy that generates the main income of the country. In the last 8 years, special attention has been paid to domestic tourism in Russia. The close relationship between geological routes of students during educational field practice and hiking trips is also considered, where students’ walking routes mainly pass through places where educational materials on geology are collected. Upon completion of the geological route, 2nd year students in the summer can be equated to passing the tourism standard and the “Tourist of Russia” badge
