Цель исследования – провести анализ тестов обновлённого комплекса ВФСК ГТО VII и VIII ступеней у студентов 1–3 курсов на основе мониторинга физической подготовленности. Методика и организация исследования. Исследование проводили в конце учебного 2023–2024 года на базе Национального исследовательского университета «МЭИ» с участием студентов, имеющих медицинский допуск к выполнению нормативов ГТО. Мониторинг физической подготовленности студентов проводили в период окончания учебного года в рамках сдачи нормативов ГТО VII и VIII ступеней. Результаты мониторинга были соотнесены с выполнением тестов ГТО на должном уровне (золотого, серебряного и бронзового знаков отличия). Результаты исследования. Среди обязательных тестов ВФСК ГТО более успешными у юношей оказались испытания, связанные со скоростными, силовыми способностями и гибкостью, у девушек наилучшие результаты были выявлены в тесте на гибкость. Бег на выносливость в обеих гендерных группах вызвал затруднения. Среди тестов по выбору ВФСК ГТО наибольшее количество юношей, сдавших на знак, отмечено в тесте «прыжок в длину с места», у девушек наилучшие результаты выявлены в испытании «поднимание туловища из положения лёжа». Количество студентов, сдавших на знак отличия ГТО VII ступени, – 40,4%, VIII ступени – 33,6%.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the tests of the updated complex of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex for levels VII and VIII among students in their first to third years based on monitoring physical fitness. Research methods and organization. The study was conducted at the end of the 2023-2024 academic year at the National Research University "MEI" with the participation of students who had medical clearance to perform the standards of the Ready for Labor and Defense complex. Monitoring of students' physical fitness was carried out at the end of the academic year within the framework of the GTO standards for levels VII and VIII. The results of the monitoring were compared to the achievement of GTO tests at the appropriate levels (gold, silver, and bronze distinctions). Research results. Among the mandatory tests of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex, the young men showed greater success in tests related to speed, strength abilities, and flexibility, while the young women demonstrated the best results in the flexibility test. Endurance running posed challenges for both gender groups. Among the optional tests of the GTO, the highest number of young men who received a badge was recorded in the "standing long jump" test, while young women achieved the best results in the "sit-up from a lying position" test. The percentage of students who received a GTO badge of distinction was 40.4% for level VII and 33.6% for level VIII.
