Integration of volleyball training into the professional education system of technical universities as a tool for enhancing students' physical fitness
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article addresses the problem of insufficient physical fitness among students of technical universities in the context of the increasing internetization and computerization of education, which negatively affects their psycho-emotional wellbeing and professional longevity. Students of technical universities often have low physical fitness and experience a deficit in physical activity. Hypodynamia adversely impacts cognitive productivity and leads to occupation-related health issues. Traditional physical education programs aim at the comprehensive development of basic motor skills; however, despite these efforts, they remain insufficiently effective due to low student engagement. The purpose of the study is to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a methodology for integrating volleyball training into the physical education curriculum, aimed at improving the physical fitness levels of students in technical specialties. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical observation, data collection, and mathematical-statistical processing of data. Research results and conclusions. The author's methodology, developed based on the integration of volleyball training, has demonstrated high effectiveness within the educational process of students in technical disciplines, as well as ensured an increase in the overall level of physical fitness and contributed to minimizing the destructive effects of stress factors on students.
