The article presents a study on the development and experimental substantiation of the effectiveness of the selection methodology and initial physical training in athletics groups of speed and strength orientation, taking into account their predisposition to the development of special physical abilities based on the association of gene polymorphisms. Athletes with a specific set of genetic prerequisites for sports activities can achieve high athletic results.
