The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of specialized coordination exercises on ball-passing accuracy and cardiovascular functional parameters among medical university students engaged in basketball. Research methods and organization. The experiment involved medical students aged 18-22 who participated in the university’s basketball section. The experimental group performed a specialized complex of coordination exercises in addition to regular training over a 16-week period. The following research methods were employed: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, standardized testing, anthropometric measurements, and mathematical-statistical analysis. Research results and conclusions. A reliable improvement in passing accuracy was established in the experimental group. Positive changes were identified in heart rate variability indicators and choice reaction time. The use of specialized coordination exercises among medical students contributes not only to the enhancement of sports and technical performance but also to the optimization of the functional state of the body, which is of significant importance for maintaining performance under conditions of high academic workload.
