Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents the results of the performance of the finalists of the IV All-Russian festival of the GTO complex (ready for labour and defence) among students of educational organisations of higher education, held in Khanty-Mansiysk from 1 to 6 July 2023. Based on the analysis of the results of 156 young men, the performance limits in eight types of competitions aimed at identifying the level of general physical preparedness and accuracy of rifle shooting have been determined. The evaluation of the correlation between the total sum of scored points and each of the individual competitions in groups of sportsmen differing in the level of individual results is presented. It is shown that with the increase of sportsmanship, regardless of the age of the participants, the number of similar characteristics in the level of their preparedness, which provide a successful final result, increases.
