Abstract:
The article presents the results of typification of game situations according to the feature “ball passing to the pivot player”. Four classes of typical situations were identified. It was revealed, that on average per match, in these situations high-skilled handball players make 2.36±0.2 ball passes to the pivot with an efficiency of at least 75%. The study identified generalizing attributes of typical situations. They are assosiated to the pivot’s position relative to the defender and the ball.
