The article presents a study of the characteristics of the pre-start states of junior kickboxers in preparation for competitions using the example of sparring and the development of recommendations for choosing means to optimize their state of readiness. Timely monitoring of the development of junior kickboxers helps improve their psychological and tactical preparation based on a differentiated approach to the formation of a state of readiness for competitions.
