The paper examines the relationship between the development of coordination abilities and the level of physical fitness of cadets. In turn, the quality of performance of their official duties will depend on the level of physical fitness of the cadets, not only in educational, but also in future professional activities. It should be noted that coordination abilities are one of the main indicators that allows you to increase the level of physical fitness of cadets during the educational process. Determining the dependence of the level of physical fitness on the level of development of cadets coordination abilities will ensure better training of cadets. On the basis of the Belgorod Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after I.D. Putilin conducted a study in which fourth-year cadets took part. The use of an additional set of exercises aimed at improving coordination abilities in the experimental group indicates a higher level of not only physical fitness of cadets in all indicators, but also the level of development of coordination abilities, compared with the control group. The exercises included in the complex were taken from various sports and adapted according to the topics of the classes.
