In modern society, concern for the physical development of children is becoming increasingly important. After all, a healthy and strong child is not only a guarantee of his successful adaptation to school life, but also the basis for future strong health. One of the most effective forms of testing physical fitness is the regulatory tests of the VFSK GTO (All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense”). The article presents a study on the use of outdoor games in the process of preparing younger schoolchildren for passing the regulatory tests of the VFSK TRP.
