Determination of sufficient values of maximum oxygen consumption in assessing the functional preparedness of cross-country skiers
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The most important indicator of the functional preparedness of cross-country skiers is the maximum oxygen consumption. However, currently in the literature there are contradictory information about the model values of this indicator. The article considers the main factors affecting the indicators of aerobic energy supply to athletes of cyclical winter sports. Typical values of maximum oxygen consumption for cross-country skiers have been established.
