Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
At the pre-Olympic 52nd World Championships in Antwerp, all twelve women's teams that will participate in the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad were determined. Therefore, identifying the main contenders for a team victory in 2024 in Paris is relevant. The article presents an analysis of the performances of the best women's national teams at the 52nd World Championships and their prospects, both in the team and individual tournaments at the upcoming Olympic Games. The best women's national teams and individual gymnasts have been identified based on the results of the 2023 World Championships; their prospects for winning the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad have been revealed. It is determined that in the absence of the Russian national team at the 2023 World Championships, the undisputed leader in women's gymnastics is only the USA team. The pre-Olympic 52nd World Championships showed a confident advantage of the American female gymnasts who won the team competitions. Simone Biles won the individual competitions, as well as on balance beam and floor exercises.
