Abstract (English):
Often students involved in the educational process have a situation favorable to poor physical development. This can be corrected by systematic rational physical activity within the framework of one of the sports. The aim of the study is to establish the dynamics of physical development of students who started handball. Prolonged weak physical activity kept low physical abilities in the second group. Handball classes lead to the optimization of young men's organism state and to the development of muscular system more significantly than in the conditions of university physical education classes.
