The article discusses the features of pedaling power in road cycling disciplines (group race, individual time trial, group mountain race and criterium race). Each of which requires a different degree of manifestation of motor abilities, determined by the corresponding level of development of energy supply systems. In the course of laboratory testing of road cyclists, indicators of aerobic and anaerobic capacity of the body were identified based on pedaling power data. The data obtained made it possible to determine the features of the pedaling power indicators of road cyclists in accordance with the chosen discipline.
