Abstract:
Within the framework of a doctoral research study, the effectiveness and outcomes of a developed annual training methodology for young beach volleyball players in initial training groups were evaluated through standardized assessments of physical and technical preparedness in two groups of 7–8-year-old athletes. The purpose of the study is to analyze the dynamics of physical and technical preparedness in 7–8-year-old athletes following the implementation of a traditional training methodology versus a newly developed four-module annual training model. Research methods and organization. In preliminary studies (2023), young beach volleyball players enrolled in an introductory training group were examined. The boys aged 7-8 underwent a battery of 10 tests: 6 tests on physical fitness and 4 tests on technical skills. Research results and conclusions. The obtained results indicate the advisability of training according to the developed methodology; they proved to be more effective than a year of training using the traditional methodology, which allows recommending the application of the one-year sports training methodology for young beach volleyball players aged 7–8 in the practice of working with children in sports and general education schools.
