Student computer sports in universities, prospects of digital sports

Abstract (English):
The materials on the development of student computer sports, the results of the performance of the teams of transport universities are presented. Attention is paid to the emergence of a new direction – digital sports: the unity of sports and technology, the harmony of physical perfection and intelli-gence, where the interests of the younger generation are embodied. Attention is focused on the hold-ing of the First International Digital tournament. The paper shows that the methods of Digital sports are of particular importance for training future specialists in the operation of unmanned aircraft sys-tems, expand the possibilities of using advanced innovative technologies that ensure a high level of flight safety. Practical significance – the data obtained can be taken into account when building the educational and training process at the university, will allow students to realize their interests, and make education more effective.
