Organization of training sessions in elite sports requires taking into account many factors. When planning the training process, the coach relies on the results of competitive activity and first of all solves the problems of technical and tactical training. With the growth of sportsmanship the effectiveness of technical and tactical actions in badminton is influenced by the indicators of the players’ special physical preparedness. The analysis of competitive activity carried out during the study made it possible to determine the tasks of special physical training for boys and girls of the student team. When planning the training process with a given contingent of trainees it is necessary to combine different types of loads in limited time, which causes certain difficulties. As a result of the study models of basic training microcycles were developed in which options for combining loads of different directions were proposed, taking into account the identified features of student team badminton players’ gaming activity.
