Potential ways to improve the sports fitness of athletes with musculoskeletal disorder through integrated preparation
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
. Based on the analysis of available literature and the opinions of specialists working with athletes with musculoskeletal impairments, a reduced assessment of the impact of integrated training on the athlete's ability to reach peak performance for the main season competition has been identified. In athletics, a situation related to a lack of qualifying races has been observed among individuals with musculoskeletal impairments, resulting in athletes not being able to gain sufficient competitive experience. This article explores the possibility of using various aspects of integrated training to compensate for the lack of qualifying races, thereby partially offsetting the deficiency in competitive experience. Integrated preparation in the studied disciplines is implemented based on partial modeling of competitive conditions and modeling of direct competitive activities during the implementation of various types of sports training in the educational and training process - technical, physical, tactical, theoretical, and psychological. To incorporate the integrated component into each of these types of training, it is necessary to develop specific tools that will partially or fully simulate certain aspects of competitive activity.
