The article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment on the practical use of an improved technique for recording time intervals, length and frequency of running steps, support time and flight based on high-speed video shooting using the Freelap system, VisualEyes and MYSprint mobile applications during the training process at the student sports club. The data obtained as a result of the experiment allow us to conclude that it is advisable to use sports equipment with digital technologies for urgent information and correction during the training of middle-distance runners.
