In sports, as the methodological, technical, and training bases develop, the training system is constantly being improved. The influence of many components involved in the long-term preparatory process - means, methods, principles of training, as well as individual characteristics of those involved - gender, age, type of nervous system, muscular energy supply, features of psychophysiological stress transfer, speed of recovery reactions, tendency to diseases should be reflected in the long-term planning of the training process. Since training planning is created for several years for qualified stayer swimmers, it is necessary to consider the process of its management as a dynamic system that allows timely and adequate changes to the preparatory process.
