Peculiarities of biochemical status of elite cyclists
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents the results of studying the peculiarities of the biochemical status of elite cyclists from the "Locosphinx " team. Over a period of 4 years, 13 male athletes of sports qualifications "Master of Sports" and "International Master of Sports" were examined at the FGBU FNSC FMBA of Russia (Moscow) as part of mandatory comprehensive medical examinations for athletes representing the Russian national team. The research results showed a high frequency of appearance of biochemical stress markers during extreme physical exertion Considering the high likelihood of decreased functional activity in athletes and, consequently, negative impact on sports performance, the authors recommend paying closer attention to this issue and actively preventing possible pathological changes in the cyclist's body.
