The mental resilience and motivation in sports activities are becoming increasingly relevant and practically significant nowadays. The article presents a study on identifying the correlation between the level of mental resilience and athletes' motivation. A direct positive relationship was found between mental resilience and motivation for achieving success, sports-cognitive motives, civic-patriotic motives, as well as an inverse negative relationship between mental resilience and emotional satisfaction.
