The article presents a relatively new turn called the "Crossover," also known as the "side rotation," which is used in complex swimming during the backstroke to breaststroke transition. The results of its application from its initial appearance to widespread use on the global stage are presented, along with survey results from coaches and data from a search experiment on the effectiveness of using the "Crossover" turn in complex swimming among young swimmers.
