The article presents the results of a study on the use of a universal breathing tube for swimming in the training of 10-12 year old swimmers during the stage of sports specialization. Significant changes in respiratory system characteristics were identified, indicating positive development of athletes' respiratory muscles and their adaptation to hypoxic-hypercapnic conditions.
