Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents a study on assessing the influence of gender personality type on competitive results of female athletes competing in combat sports. The experiment involved female athletes practicing women's wrestling, women's boxing, judo, and sambo. The level of athletic potential was determined based on the chronological age of meeting qualification standards and requirements for the sports rank of "Candidate for Master of Sports of Russia" and the title of "Master of Sports of Russia." It was found that the number of participants with androgynous or masculine personality types is approximately equal in all types of combat sports, except for women's boxing, where the masculine type predominates. Masculinity became a significant advantage in achieving the sports rank of Candidate for Master of Sports in women's wrestling and the title of Master of Sports in sambo.
