In the modern world, sports disciplines require increasingly high levels of physical and functional preparedness from athletes. Currently, there are no tests to determine the level of specific endurance that could reflect the specificity of movements in acrobatic rock and roll – typically, ergometers or treadmills are used for this purpose. This article discusses the development of dance testing to assess the level of specific endurance in the "formation" category of women in acrobatic rock and roll. The testing includes studying the cardiovascular and respiratory system responses to load in this sport among leading athletes, masters of sport, and members of the Russian national team.
