The article presents the results of a survey of students from the maritime university aimed at identifying "digital (computer) visual syndrome" and the reasons for deteriorating vision among students. According to the authors, practical physical education classes and elective disciplines related to physical (adaptive) culture and sports partially help develop skills for preventing the negative impact of digital technologies.
