Study of the development of coordination abilities of qualified track and field athletes with hearing impairment
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents the results of studying the level of development of coordination abilities in qualified track and field athletes with hearing impairment. The authors have established that the overall coordination abilities of throwers with hearing impairments are lower than the data presented by specialists, but higher than the norm taken from the Federal State Sports Program (FSSP). The overall and specific coordination abilities of runners are higher than those of throwers, with sprint performance exceeding the FSSP norms and specialist data. The obtained results lead to the conclusion that in the training process for track and field throwers with hearing impairments during the stage of athletic improvement, it is necessary to increase the volume of exercises aimed at improving overall coordination abilities related to integral motor actions, as well as enhancing spatial orientation and kinesthetic differentiation of strength parameters in movements.
