Improving the effectiveness of the formation of mathematical literacy of students by means of physical education

Abstract (English):
The educational process in any discipline is based on the educational state standard. The educational standard must comply with the Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation and the Resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation. According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 204 of 07.05.2018, which provides for the strategic development of the Russian Federation until 2025, Russian education should become competitive. In addition, the quality of education must be ensured, allowing the Russian Federation to enter the top ten leading countries in the world. In order to learn to live in a new reality, a person must form new competencies and develop creative capabilities. Students should develop the ability to self-realization, as well as form an adaptive potential that will contribute to resisting stressful situations and adequately responding to constantly changing life conditions. The State Program of the Russian Federation "Development of Education for 2018-2025" defines the concept of "functional literacy of students". The formation of this literacy contributes to the formation of a creative, dynamic personality, which is important in future professional activity. The article discusses the possibility of forming certain types of functional literacy of students based on the means of physical education. The data of empirical research are presented and recommendations are offered that contribute to the solution of the research problem.
