Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
High-quality technical training of players in the training process for long-range shots is one of the key areas for successful achievements in competitive activities. An accurate, sniper shot and the wrong technique of its execution are incompatible concepts in basketball. This is especially true for girls, since in the early 2000s they adopted the men's throw in a jump with one hand, and when throwing from a long distance, it is impossible to perform it without perfect and error-free technique and good physical training. The purpose of the study was to test long-range shots in a team of girls aged 14-15 years of the Olympic Reserve School, to determine and compare the percentage of hits with the optimal indicators for this age, to determine personal mistakes when performing a long-range throw. The methodology of the study consisted in assessing the level of technical readiness for competitive activities of young basketball players and comparing the results obtained with the optimal level. Research methods: review and analysis of the basic requirements of sports training in the sport of basketball, generalization of literature. The basis for the study was the sports school of the Olympic reserve "Kupchinsky Olympus" of the Frunzensky district of St. Petersburg. The results and conclusions of the study revealed the level of technical readiness of basketball players for long-range shots. The main errors in jump shots were identified, testing for long-range shots was conducted, and the shooting accuracy percentage of each player on the team was determined. A comparative analysis of games in the Russian Championship allowed for the identification of individual errors in long-range shot execution.
