The issues of comprehensive training for young athletes at the stage of sports specialization in cheer sports are discussed in the work. The peculiarities and specifics of modern cheer sports, as well as athlete preparation in it, are considered. Emphasis is placed on the convergent approach in sports training. The results of observations characterizing the possibilities of using innovations in training conditions are presented.
