The purpose of the study is to determine the variability of performance and the features of improving the quality of performance of "dynamic elements with rotation" on jumps in highly qualified gymnasts. Methods and organization of the study: to solve the problem under study, a survey of specialists in rhythmic gymnastics, pedagogical observations of training sessions and analysis of video materials of the largest competitions in rhythmic gymnastics, as well as mathematical processing of research materials were carried out. Results of the study and conclusions: as a result, the variability of the performance of "dynamic elements with rotation" on jumps, errors in their execution and the features of improving the quality of performance of "dynamic elements with rotation" on jumps in highly qualified gymnasts were determined, as well as a set of exercises to improve their performance was proposed. The results obtained allow us to conclude that it is expedient to include the proposed set of exercises to improve the quality of performing "dynamic elements with rotation" on jumps in rhythmic gymnastics.
