The purpose of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the application of an individual approach in assessing the quality of psychological, genetic, and physical preparedness of young swimmers aged 12–14 specializing in sprint freestyle. Research methods: analysis of specialized scientific literature, determination and verification of research parameters, statistical evaluation of obtained results, pedagogical experiment. Research results and conclusions. Preferential data from the experimental group have been obtained, indicating the need to implement an individual approach in assessing the quality of training of freestyle sprinters aged 12–14 according to the 16 selected criteria. It has been revealed that the proposed authors' recommendations for utilizing the personal abilities of swimmers significantly affect their training and competitive performance.
