After the end of the special military operation, thousands of participants in hostilities in need of socio-psychological rehabilitation will return to peaceful life. To prevent this from becoming a serious medical and social problem in the near future, the timely development and implementation of effective rehabilitation programs for war veterans is necessary. The article considers the possibility of physical rehabilitation of veterans who, after the end of hostilities, will come to continue to receive education, within the framework of academic practical exercises in the educational discipline "Physical Education" and after school hours, using the example of the Far Eastern Federal University. The successful restoration and preservation of the health of veterans, their families and civilians of the front-line territories will have a positive effect on the health of society and the nation as a whole, contributing to the replenishment of human losses in the postwar period
