This article is devoted to the peculiarities of working with gifted children. The topic is relevant. Scientists have noticed that a common psychological feature of children with early maturation of the intellectual gift is a significant mental alertness, an increased desire for mental work. The constant attraction to mental work is one of the engines of their formation. Gifted children show great perseverance in the area of their hobbies. The purpose of this study: to make a detailed analysis of the methodological systems of teaching English to gifted children, the features of working with them, and to establish their methodological significance in terms of their effectiveness and efficiency. The practical significance of the study: the analysis and systematization of methods of teaching English, shown in this article, can help in finding and choosing the most effective, “universal” method of working with gifted children
