SUCCESS OF THE INTEGRATION OF SPORTS WORK WITH WINTER SPORTS AT LESGAFT UNIVERSITY

Abstract:
A comprehensive analysis of trends and prospects for the development of winter sports, which are included in the programs of the All-Russian Winter Universiades, is presented based on a comparison of the results of the VI (2020) and VII (2022) Universidad. It was found that in the final starts of the VI Univer-siade, 643 students from 78 universities played 46 sets of awards, and during the VII Universiade, 661 students from 71 universities played 44 sets of medals in six sports. At the same time, the most successful were the students of Lesgaft University, who won the first place in the team competition at both Universiades, and the winners in these competitions were athletes of the Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk), the Ural State University of Physical Culture (Chelyabinsk) and the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (Kazan). At the same time, the number of participating subjects of the Russian Federation and universities has significantly decreased at the VII Universiade, which requires the modernization of the programs of future Universiades and the introduction of other sports into these programs
