The aim of the study was to develop a classification of technical throws and a combination of motor actions in belt wrestling. In the course of the research, the following methods were used: analysis of scientific, methodological, and specialized literature, pedagogical observation, and video analysis of competitive duels, questionnaire survey, and the method of expert assessments. The study was conducted on the basis of the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. The study involved 40 young men engaged in belt wrestling at the age of 18 to 21 years, having higher and mass sports categories. Based on the conducted research, after analyzing the literature, pedagogical observation of the competition process, video analysis of more than 100 fights of qualified wrestlers, questioning of specialists and athletes, as well as expert evaluation of specialists on the use of certain techniques and motor actions in the process of competitive activity, a classification of technical throws and combinations of motor actions in belt wrestling was developed.
