The purpose of the study is to determine the most effective forms of implementing competitive motor action techniques in the process of performing the main task of the initial training stage in taekwondo – creating a basic technical arsenal for young taekwondo practitioners at the initial stage of training aimed at forming the foundation of technique variability. Research methods: analysis of specialized (scientific and methodological) literature, analysis of the competitive activities of young taekwondo athletes, surveys of coaches, statistical analysis of the obtained results. Research results. The obtained data can be used in the practical work of coaches in beginner training groups when forming the basic technical and tactical arsenal, in preparing young taekwondo athletes for competitions and qualification assessments, and can also create prerequisites for the variability and versatility of the technical arsenal of taekwondo athletes.
