An overview of the available software for arm wrestling tournaments is given. The main trends in their evolution are indicated. The requirements for software to reach a qualitatively new level are analyzed. It is shown that modern software should be cross-platform, working on the Internet in real time, should include a single database and rating of athletes. The authors come to the conclusion that at the moment there is no program that meets the necessary requirements.
