Introduction. The present study examines the integration of an acting course into the training regimen of figure skaters in training. Figure skating competitions require athletes to not only possess high technical skills, but also demonstrate plastic expressiveness, unity and integrity of the competitive program, and motor expressiveness and emotionality. The objective of the study is to develop a teaching methodology for acting skills to enhance the scores for the components of the program for figure skaters in training. Results and Discussion. As a result of the study, a comprehensive teaching methodology was developed for the integration of acting into the figure skater's training regimen. This methodology includes a themed curriculum and detailed lesson plans to provide a structured approach to learning. The exercises were selected to meet the pedagogical needs of the figure skaters in training. The pedagogical experiment showed that incorporating an acting course into the training regimen of figure skaters, consisting of specially designed and adapted exercises, increased the scores for the "Performance" and "Composition" components. Conclusion: The experimental methodology showed significant improvement (p<0.05) in the scores for the components of the program in the experimental group, while the control group did not show significant improvement (p>0.05). Incorporating a customized set of acting skill exercises into the training process positively impacts the figure skaters' plastic expressiveness and performance skills, leading to enhanced scores for the component parts of their competitive programs.
