On the basis of the monitoring technologies, the physical development of the female students studying at the largest university in the Irkutsk region has been studied, and its regional standards have been developed, allowing for an objective assessment of one of the main components of the physical health of girls, taking into account their age characteristics and living area. Adjustments have also been made to the educational process in the discipline "Elective courses in physical culture and sports" at the university, which should be built taking into account the individual characteristics of the student.
