The article is devoted to the study of the dependence of the attendance of cadets of the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation discipline "Physical Culture" on the overall academic performance. It is suggested that in times of difficult and saturated with professional subjects semesters cadets may neglect to attend physical education, which will lead to a deterioration of their strength qualities. The following strength qualities of cadets from the first to the fourth semester were analyzed: pulling up from the vise on a high crossbar, flexion /extension of the arms in the emphasis on the bars, lifting by force and lifting by a coup. It is established that the attendance of physical culture decreases with the growth of the academic load, but the indicators of strength qualities increase significantly with each semester. These articles can be used to preserve the physical health of cadets of the Institute of Civil Aviation.
